Otto VII of Tecklenburg († after 1452) was Count of Tecklenburg from 1426 to 1452 .

Life

Otto VII was the only son of Count Nikolaus II of Tecklenburg and Anna von Moers , daughter of Count Friedrich III. von Moers , born.

After his father's death, Otto VII succeeded him as Count of Tecklenburg. He ruled like his father, constantly feuding to undo his father's losses. This failed him and he continued to go into debt. It accelerated the county's decline.

Otto VII died around 1450.
