Otto Wendler

Otto Wendler (born July 4, 1861 in Stralsund ; † after 1906; full name Otto Carl Heinrich Wendler ) was a Low German regional and local writer .

Otto Wendler graduated from high school in Stralsund in 1880 . He studied Protestant theology at the universities of Leipzig , Berlin and Greifswald . He passed the exam in Stettin . After that he was a teacher, from 1886 senior teacher, in Woblanse , Radevormwald and from 1890 in Rendsberg. The date and place of death are not known.

Wendler published various writings, some in Low German , on the history and culture of the island of Rügen . His estate is in the Stralsund City Archives .
