Otto von Schlieffen
Otto Graf von Schlieffen (born April 11, 1821 in Potsdam , † July 23, 1897 in Klein Belitz ) was majorate and member of the German Reichstag .
Life
Schlieffen attended the cathedral high school in Magdeburg . From 1839 to 1858 he was an officer in the Kaiser Alexander Garde Grenadier Regiment No. 1 . Then he was a farmer in Schwandt near Mölln . He was also the civil chairman and district commissioner of the goods collection district in Mecklenburg .
From 1887 to 1893 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin 4 ( Waren , Malchin ) and the German Conservative Party .
