Ottobald Bischoff

Ottobald Bischoff (born July 6, 1821 in Torgau ; † May 30, 1887 in Stettin ) was a German Protestant theologian , teacher and writer .

Life

Born the son of a garrison preacher, Bischoff studied Protestant theology in Berlin . During his studies he became a member of the Normannia Berlin Landsmannschaft in 1841 . In 1847 he passed his preaching examination in Merseburg and became rector of the Prettin school near Annaburg , rector in Kemberg and, in 1856, finally rector of the town school in Cottbus . In the period before 1862 he became head of the school and rector in Szczecin.
