Ottomar Aßmus (life dates unknown) was a German football player .
Career
Aßmus belonged to VfB Leipzig as a striker and played in the 1902/03 season in the championship organized by the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs in the Gau North-West Saxony , next to the Gau East Saxony , one of the two regional highest divisions, his point games. As the winner of the Gau Nordwestsachsen emerged, he played on May 3, 1903 against the Dresdner SC , the winner of the Gau Ostsachsen, for the Central German Championship; the game in Dresden was won 4-0. Due to the success, qualified for the final round of the German championship , he was only used on May 31, 1903 in Altona in the 7-2 victory over DFC Prague in the first German final.
