Oued Fodda is a city in northern Algeria with around 50,000 (2008) inhabitants. It is located in the province of Chlef about 20 km east of the provincial capital Celiff in a wide, agricultural valley on the Oued Fodda , from which it derives its name.

Oued Fodda is on the N4 route and near the A1 motorway from Algiers to Oran and on the W 132 provincial road. The town has a train station on the railway line of the Société nationale des transports ferroviaires algériens from Algiers to Oran.

A concrete pipe factory and a quarry are the most important commercial enterprises, but both of them suffer from difficult economic conditions.

The concrete pipe factory goes back to the construction of the Oued Fodda dam, about 17 km away in the south , during the construction of which by Campenon Bernard in the years 1926 to 1932 the site served as the basis for the work on the dam. The pre- stressed concrete pipes designed by Eugène Freyssinet for the pressurized water pipes in the town and to the surrounding fields were manufactured in the factory.

Like Cheliff, Oued Fodda suffered from the earthquakes of 1954 and 1980. The consequences of the civil war at the end of the last century can still be felt.
