The Oued Ouringa is a 50 km long coastal river in the Chefchaouen province in northern Morocco . It rises in the Rif Mountains and flows into the Mediterranean ; in the summer and autumn months it often dries out completely.

course

The Oued Ouringa rises after heavy or prolonged rainfall in the north of the Rif Mountains at an altitude of about 1600 m. His path leads steadily north through a rugged mountain valley to flow into the Mediterranean Sea in the bay of El Jebha .

Tributaries

The Oued Ouringa only absorbs water from smaller rivers and streams after heavy rains, but these also dry out part of the year.
