Ouest-France ( West-France ) is a regional French daily newspaper . It was founded in 1944 by Paul Hutin-Desgrées as the successor to L'Ouest-Éclair .

The main editorial office of Ouest-France is located in Rennes . It maintains regional editions for the regions of Lower Normandy , Bretagne and Pays de la Loire as well as 42 local supplements.

The Ouest-France group has 1,900 employees, including 570 journalists .
