Oumar Sène

Oumar Sène (born October 23, 1959 in Dakar ) is a former Senegalese football player .

The midfielder was national champion of his home country with US Gorée in the 1979/80 season and later moved to the then French first division club Stade Laval , where he played until 1985. He then moved to Paris Saint-Germain , where he completed 197 games by the end of his career in 1992. Sène was also a Senegalese international .

After his career, Sène worked as a coach at the French amateur club FC Étampes , where he coached his son Saër Sène (born November 4, 1986), who now plays for the New York Red Bulls in the USA , between 2005 and 2007 .
