Réseau Outre-Mer 1ère ( Outre-Mer 1ère ) is a public service broadcaster for the overseas territories of France , based in Malakoff near Paris . News, education and entertainment are broadcast.
The transmitter serves the following areas via satellite with 10 television and 10 radio programs:
- Guadeloupe
- French Guiana
- Martinique
- Mayotte
- New Caledonia
- French Polynesia
- Reunion Island
- Saint-Pierre and Miquelon
- Wallis and Futuna
The channel also broadcasts the multicultural TV program France Ô , which is mainly a mix of overseas magazines for migrants in France .
The formerly independent establishment has been part of the France Télévisions group since July 2004 .
