The Ovenuten is a 1579 m high mountain not far from the Princess Martha coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . Near the southwestern end of the Ahlmannryggen it rises as the northernmost elevation of a mountain group on the west side of the Wilsonflya .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named the hill, mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952). It is named after the Swede Paul Ove Wilson (1921–1981), who worked as a doctor on this research trip.
