The Ovcha-Kupel-Stadion (also written Ovcha-Kupel-Stadion , Bulgarian Стадион "Овча Купел" ) is a football stadium in the Bulgarian capital Sofia in the district of the same name. The football club Slavia Sofia plays its home games in this stadium.
history
The stadium is owned by the City of Sofia and was opened in 1930. It currently has 25,556 places. The stadium was partially renovated in 1997, 2001 and 2004. The Bulgarian U-21 national team occasionally plays its home games in this stadium.
