Pál Bakó (born June 8, 1946 in Budapest ) is a former Hungarian pentathlete .
Career
Pál Bakó took part in the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich . In the individual, he placed 15th, with the team, which also included András Balczó and Zsigmond Villányi in addition to Bakó , he won the silver medal behind the Soviet team.
At world championships he achieved his first success in 1969 when he was runner-up in the team championship. In 1970 he became world champion in this competition together with András Balczó and Péter Kelemen . He finally achieved third place with the team in 1977 .
