Pedagogy Lessons (spelling in capital letters) is the trade journal of the largest professional association for teachers in Germany who teach in the subject group pedagogy . It is the membership publication of the VdP (Association of Pedagogy Teachers) and has a circulation of 3000 copies (as of 2019). Three issues appear annually; July / August is a double issue.

The magazine was founded in 1981; its forerunner was the “circular of the working group of subject teachers and subject leaders for educational science” , which was launched in 1978.

The main topics of the magazine are: pedagogy lessons , didactics of pedagogy and educational processes as well as educational policy.

The editorial team includes a. Eckehardt Knöpfel and C. Püttmann and Elmar Wortmann. Members of the scientific advisory board include a. Klaus Beyer , Katharina Gather, Axel Bernd Kunze and Armin Bernhard.
