history

The pedagogy was founded in 1949 under the name Westermanns pedagogical contributions and was given the name pedagogy in 1988, after merging with the journal Pedagogy Today: Matters: Education . A detailed overview of the history of Johannes Bastian's magazine can be found in issues 11 and 12/2018. It appears monthly with a thematic focus, with a double issue with two main topics in July / August. In addition to the focus, there are the sections "Contribution", "Series", "Controversy" and "Magazine" as well as a column by the education journalist Reinhard Kahl .
