"Archive of the future - network"

On June 15, 2007, Reinhard Kahl and 30 founding members founded the Archive of the Future Network in Hamburg . The founding assembly elected Reinhard Kahl as chairman of the association. The aim of this is to strengthen the intelligence of educational practice. This includes an internet platform and working meetings. Central, however, are large congresses that bring together representatives of education, brain research and entrepreneurs in a hitherto unknown framework. The kick-off congress took place in Bregenz in 2008 with 1400 guests; more should follow there every two years, but the level could not be maintained. Congresses were now organized rather irregularly, later also in Lüneburg. The events are financed through high-priced visitor income. As a rule, 2-3 prominent speakers are announced, including Manfred Spitzer , Harald Welzer , Remo Lago, Ulrike Kegler, Hartmut von Hentig , Enja Riegel, who calls herself "the most prominent progressive educator in Germany" on her website, or Richard David Precht . All other lecturers and workshop leaders not only pay travel and accommodation, but - a special feature of the "Archive of the Future" congresses - also pay the conference fee, which is around € 350.
