The College of Education Central Switzerland (PHZ, Eng. University of Teacher Education Central Switzerland ) was the end of July 2013, federally recognized and internationally accredited College of Education for teacher training and education research. It was organized decentrally at the three locations Lucerne (PHZ Luzern), Goldau (PHZ Schwyz) and Zug (PHZ Zug). Sponsorship was a concordat of the six central Swiss cantons of Lucerne , Schwyz , Uri , Obwalden , Nidwalden and Zug .

After the concordat was dissolved, the cantons of the previous schools have been running their schools independently since the beginning of the 2013/14 school year.
