Pärsti (German: Perst ) is a former rural community in the Estonian district of Viljandi with an area of 210 km². It has 2868 inhabitants (2006).
Pärsti is located in the center of the district. In addition to the main town Jämejala (236 inhabitants), the rural community included the villages of Alustre (Alstern), Heimtali (Heimthal), Kiini (Kulsenhof), Kiisa (Kisa, Sankt Benedikt), Kingu (Freytagshof), Kookla (Koockel), Laanekuru , Leemeti , Marna (Marne), Matapera (Mettaper, Mattenper), Mustivere , Pinska (Lapinsky), Puiatu (Pujat), Päri (Ningal), Pärsti (Perst), Ramsi (Rams), Raudna , Rihkama , Savikoti , Sinialliku , Tohvri , Turva (Turwen), Tõrreküla , Vanamõisa (Friederichsheim), Vardi (Schwarzhof) and Väike-Kõpu (Klein-Köppo).
