Pô

is a city and a department encompassing the same area in the south of the West African state of Burkina Faso in the Center-Sud region and the capital of the Nahouri province . It is located near the border with Ghana and in 2006 had 51,552 inhabitants in the six sectors of the main town and the associated 25 villages. The city was founded around the year 1500 and is located in the land of the Kassena . In the city center there is a former governor's building from the colonial times.

Near Pô are the Kaboré-Tambi National Park and the Pic de Nahouri , a protected area (forêt classée) and a natural sanctuary.
