Pool and Snooker Denzlingen eV (short: PS Denzlingen , also P&S Denzlingen ) is a billiards club from Denzlingen founded in 1991 .
history
On July 10, 1991, the PBC Kaiserstuhl was founded in Achkarren . In the summer of 1995, the company moved to the Jack & Daniels billiard center in Freiburg , as it was no longer possible to finance their own clubhouse. In 1996 the club was renamed BSC Freiburg-Kaiserstuhl . In 2015 the club moved to its own clubhouse in Denzlingen and changed its name to Pool and Snooker Denzlingen .
Pool
In its first season, the club managed to rise to the regional league as runner-up in the district league in 1992. After being runner-up there in 1993, they succeeded in becoming national league champions in 1994. However, promotion to the Association League was missed. The club was then runner-up in the regional league in 1995, 1997 and 1998, with promotion to the association league in 1998, followed by promotion to the league in 1999. There the club took first place in its first season and was promoted to the regional league for the first time. After the second place was achieved in the first season, 2004 succeeded in promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga . There they finished fifth in 2005 and were relegated to eighth place in the Baden-Württemberg League in 2006 . The club then rose three times in a row from 2007 to 2009 before becoming district league champions in 2010. In 2011 and 2012 the team became champions of the national league and the association league and was thus promoted back to the upper league. In 2011 she also won the German Cup with a 5-3 final win against Fortuna Berlin , and in 2012 she lost 5--1 to BC Colors Düsseldorf in the final. After the team had reached fourth place in the league in 2013, they were relegated to the association league again in 2014 and made direct promotion a year later.

snooker
The snooker team finished third in the major league in 2006. A year later, she rose as a league champion in the Baden-Württemberg League, in which she was runner-up in 2008 and fourth in 2009. Then the club was twice fifth in the upper league, which has now taken the place of the dissolved Baden-Württemberg league. In 2012 the snooker team reached fourth place in the major league. After being only just able to avoid relegation in 2013 in sixth place, they finished fourth again in 2014.
