Pa Amadou Gai (often just Daddy Gai ; born June 18, 1984 in Bakau ) is a Gambian soccer player who has been employed by the ASC HLM from Senegal since 2010 .

Career

Pa Amadou Gai began his career in Bakau United's youth until he was pulled up to the pro team in 2005, where he played four seasons in the GFA League First Division . In the 2007/08 season he was the top scorer of his team, in 2008/09 he scored nine goals. On April 15, 2009, he completed a trial training session at the Canadian club Montreal Impact .

There he got a two-year contract and on May 2 against Puerto Rico Islanders FC . After seven league games, however, his contract was terminated on July 17 and Gai then moved back to Ron Mango FC in his home country. In 2010 he left the club and moved to Senegal for the ASC HLM .

National team

Gai played for the U-17 , U-20 and U-23 national teams of Gambia.
