Pablo Cáceres , full name Pablo Domingo Cáceres Rodríguez , (born April 22, 1985 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
Depending on the sources, the 1.72, 1.78, 1.79 or 1.81 meter tall left-back began his active career in his home country at Danubio FC . In January 2006 Cáceres moved to the Dutch honor division for FC Twente Enschede , with whom he finished ninth at the end of the season. In July of that year he moved to Germany to MSV Duisburg . In the 2006/07 season, however, he was only in the 2nd team nine times in the Oberliga Nordrhein, in the Bundesliga year 2007/08, however, he played regularly and came to 18 missions. In the following season five more completed league games were added.
Moved to the 2009/10 season Caceres to Cyprus Omonia Nicosia , then returned to Danubio. For the Montevideans, he completed ten games in the Primera División in the 2010 Clausura . He also played three games in the Liguilla Pre-Libertadores . Then Cáceres went to Argentina to the Club Atlético Tigre . There are eighteen first division matches for the Uruguayan in the 2010/11 season. He came on four times as a substitute. In the 2011/12 season, in which an unattended station at Rangers Talca in Chile is led for him, he moved for a year to the Spanish club RCD Mallorca , which however had an option to extend the contract for two more years. For the Mallorcans, he was used in 28 league matches in the 2011/12 season. In the 2012/13 season he was part of the Torino FC squad . There he only played two Serie A games on the 20th and the 38th and thus the last game day of the season , but he was on the field for 90 minutes. During his engagement with the Italians, he fell out for a long time due to injury. On September 2, 2013 it was announced that he would join the French club Évian TG FC . However, the change did not take place in the end and Cáceres stayed in Argentina in mid-September 2013 to clarify his sporting future.
Since the beginning of 2014 he played for the Chilean club Rangers de Talca . There he was used in ten league games. He didn't score a goal. From July 2014 he will continue his career at CA Tigre. For the Argentinians he played in 15 league games (no goal) and two matches (no goal) of the Copa Argentina. In mid-February 2015, he moved to Atlético Tucumán as part of a loan deal . There he played 30 games (no goal) in the Primera B Nacional and was used in one game (no goal) of the Copa Argentina. At the beginning of 2016 he briefly returned to CA Tigre, but was signed again by Atlético Tucumán in mid-January and played 16 league games (no goal) and one cup game (no goal). In January 2017 he was signed by Puebla FC , for whom he has played in three games (no goal) of the Copa Méxiko since then (as of March 3, 2017) .
