The Club Atlético Tucumán , usually just called Atlético Tucumán , is an Argentine sports club from San Miguel de Tucumán .

history

The club was founded in 1902 as one of the first sports clubs in northern Argentina and initially dedicated itself to football, with other sports following over the years. The nickname Decano ( "Dean" ), which particularly refers to the fans of the club, is attributed to the old age of the club.

The club has played in white and light blue vertically striped jerseys since 1903 and is considered the first club in Argentina to use these dress colors.

Football department
