Patronato played in the top Argentinian league (Nacional) in 1978. In a championship with 32 teams, divided into four groups, the team from Paraná reached 5th place in group B. In 2015 he was promoted to the Primera División. In the 2016 season, Patronato finished eighth in Group 1 in a championship with 30 teams, divided into two groups.
