The Club Atlético Talleres ( argentin. Pron .: [ Taˈʃe.ɾes ]) is a sports club from Córdoba in Argentina . It was founded on October 12, 1913 and is best known for its football department . He is also active in basketball , volleyball , figure skating and rhythmic gymnastics .
Football department
The club's first team was represented in the first division of Argentina for a long time until they were relegated to the second division in 2004 due to their poor point average despite a good placement.
In 1999 the club won the last edition of the South American football competition Copa Conmebol .
The club's stadium is called La Boutique and is located in the south of the city. It was reopened in April 2008 after renovation work. Before that, apart from isolated, less important encounters, the Estadio Olímpico Chateau Carreras had been used, which is also used by other associations in the city. At times the stadium was completely closed to the public because safety regulations were not met and was therefore only used for training.
