Sessa Cilento is an Italian commune in the province of Salerno in the Campania region .

Sessa Cilento has 1419 inhabitants and an area of 18 km². The town center is 550 m above sea level. The place is about 70 km southeast of the provincial capital Salerno .

Other districts are: Casigliano, Castagneta, Felitto Piano, San Mango, Santa Lucia, Valle. The community is a member of the Comunità Montana Alento-Monte Stella , as well as in the Parco Nazionale del Cilento e Vallo di Diano .
