Lustra

Lustra is a municipality with 1033 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in southwest Italy in the province of Salerno ( Campania region ).

The place is located in the west of the Cilento National Park about 6 km south of Agropoli .

geography

Five other villages belong to the municipality: Corticelle, Monacelli, Ponti Rossi, Selva Cilento and Rocca Cilento. The neighboring municipalities are Laureana Cilento , Omignano , Perdifumo , Perito , Rutino , Salento , Sessa Cilento and Torchiara .

Lustra is located on the southern slope of a 650 meter high massif northeast of Monte Stella , the highest mountain in the vicinity, and is part of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park , as well as the Comunità Montana Alento-Monte Stella .
