features
Tuzoia polleni had an egg-shaped outline (length to height ratio about 1.45 in the holotype ) and a carapace length of about 100 mm. The upper edge was straight to slightly convex and had up to 7 spines on each side. The front rostrum was broad and slightly overhanging. The notch was flat. The rear rostrum was also wide and small. There was a central thorn and one on the belly side on the rear edge, both of which were very short. There were two other small spines. There were other tiny thorns at the bottom.
