August Carl Ernst von Werlhof

August Carl Ernst von Werlhof (born February 9, 1809 in Celle ; † March 23, 1895 ) was a judicial advisor in Celle.

Life

He was a grandson of the Vice President of the Higher Appeal Court in Celle Wilhelm Gottfried von Werlhof (1744-1832). His parents were the office director in Göttingen Gottlieb Friedrich Christian von Werlhof and his wife Charlotte Catharina Soest (1767–1842).

From 1826 he studied law at the University of Göttingen and was a member of the Corps Lunaburgia Göttingen. Ernst August von Werlhof's nephew was initially in Vethem and Sinndorf , Lüneburg district. From 1852 he was an appellate judge in Celle. From 1867 to 1876 he was director of the Lüneburg Higher Court . He was also the capitular of Bardowick Cathedral .

He married Emilie Charlotte von Berlepsch on March 22, 1838 (April 11, 1817 - November 8, 1854). The couple had several children:

  • Helene Luise Julia (born April 1, 1840) ⚭ Wilhelm von Hayn, Prussian major
  • Gustav Adolf Theodor (* April 4, 1843) ⚭ 1875 Marla von Götz (* March 8, 1855)
  • Ernst Ludwig Wilhelm Heinrich (born February 20, 1853)

On November 27, 1856 he married Anna Tuiska von Einsiedel in Prießnitz (born September 11, 1825 in Leumnitz ; † January 3, 1907 in Hanover). Their daughter Anna Bertha Luise Auguste Prisca (1857–1932) married Louis von Kamphövener in 1877 . The couple also had a son Bodo Adolf Julius (born November 16, 1859)
