The Diocese of Tabasco ( lat. : Dioecesis Tabasquensis , span. : Diócesis de Tabasco ) is one in Mexico located Roman Catholic diocese , based in Villahermosa .
history
The diocese Tabasco was on May 25, 1880 by Pope Pius IX. Erected from cessions of territory by the Yucatán diocese .
It is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Yucatán as a suffragan .
