Vicente Camacho y Moya (born June 8, 1886 in Guadalajara , Jalisco , Mexico , † February 18, 1943 in Villahermosa , Tabasco ) was Bishop of Tabasco .

Life

Vicente Camacho y Moya studied Catholic theology and philosophy at the Seminario Mayor Guadalupano . Camacho y Moya received on 5 December 1909 by the Archbishop of Guadalajara , José de Jesús Ortíz y Rodríguez , the sacrament of Holy Orders . In 1917 he became a pastor in Guadalajara.

On February 14, 1930, Pope Pius XI appointed him . to the Bishop of Tabasco. The Archbishop of Guadalajara, Francisco Orozco y Jiménez , gave him on 7 May of the same year in the Cathedral Señor de Tabasco in Villahermosa , the episcopal ordination ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of San Luis Potosí , Miguel María de la Mora y Mora , and the Bishop of Zacatecas , Ignacio Placencia y Moreira .
