Antonio Hernández y Rodríguez (born July 23, 1864 in Tejupilco , State of México , Mexico , † January 13, 1926 in Villahermosa , Tabasco ) was Bishop of Tabasco .

Life

Antonio Hernández y Rodríguez received in 1886, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On December 2, 1912, Pope Pius X appointed him Bishop of Tabasco. The Bishop of Chilapa , Francisco Maria Campos y Angeles , donated to him on 6 April 1913 in the Cathedral Señor de Tabasco in Villahermosa , the episcopal ordination ; Mitkonsekrator the Bishop of was Tulancingo , José Juan de Jésus Herrera y Piña . The inauguration took place on May 25 of the same year.

Antonio Hernández y Rodríguez resigned as Bishop of Tabasco on September 23, 1922. Thereupon Pope Pius XII appointed him . as titular bishop of Tralles in Asia .
