The community lies above the Bussento river , which at this point continues underground for five kilometers in a southerly direction. The neighboring municipalities are Casaletto Spartano , Morigerati , Rofrano , Sanza and Torre Orsaia . The districts are Botimare, Caporra, Marmore, Santi Caselle and Tempe.
