Perdifumo

Perdifumo is a municipality with 1767 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in southwest Italy in the province of Salerno ( Campania region ). The place is located in the west of the Cilento National Park about 3.5 km from the Mediterranean Sea.

geography

There are three other localities in the municipality: Camella, Vatolla and Mercato Cilento. The neighboring communities are Castellabate , Laureana Cilento , Lustra , Montecorice , Serramezzana and Sessa Cilento .

Perdifumo is located on the northern slope of the 1130 meter high Monte Stella , the highest mountain in the vicinity, and is part of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park , as well as the Comunità Montana Alento-Monte Stella .
