Pablo Moratorio

Pablo C. Moratorio (born June 7, 1897 in the "1. Sección Judicial" of the Florida Department , † 1981 in Montevideo ) was a Uruguayan politician .

Pablo Moratorio joined the Uruguayan army on December 1, 1913 and held the rank of cadet. On February 1, 1945 he was appointed general. He served as the director of the Instituto Militar de Estudios Superiores and was President of the Tribunal Superior de Ascensos y Recursos until his military retirement in 1951 . From June 1959 he held the office of President of the Frigorífico Nacional . Moratorio, who belonged to the Partido Nacional , was the successor to Modesto Rebollo from June 4, 1964 to February 28, 1967 Minister of Defense of Uruguay.
