Pace (running)
In running , pace is used to determine the time in which a runner covers a certain distance. The determined value is the reciprocal of the speed . The unit used is minutes per kilometer or minutes per mile.
Many training plans use the pace as a control variable for the different loads of the training units and specify length and pace.
