PAG (formerly: Pacific Alliance Group Ltd ) is an investment company founded in 2002 by Katherine Yip, Horst Geicke and Chris Gradel (now CIO ) with headquarters in Tokyo . The Executive Director as of 2019 is Dong Lyu, the Chairman and CEO is Weijian Shan, former partner of TPG and JPMorgan - Executive .

It is one of the largest alternative investment management companies in Asia, with $ 30 billion in assets under management, managing a wide variety of funds in the private equity , real estate and absolute return sectors .

PAG employs over 350 people in key financial centers in Asia. The company is headquartered in Tokyo, with other locations: Hong Kong , Beijing , Shanghai , Sydney , Singapore , Seoul and Shenzhen . Since 2002, the group has invested over $ 40 billion in markets across Asia.

In March 2018, the US investment company Blackstone acquired a minority stake in PAG Hong Kong.
