The Packwood Glacier is located in the Goat Rocks region in Washington State . The glacier is adjacent to the Pacific Crest Trail within the Goat Rocks Wilderness in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest , approximately 0.3 mi (0.48 km) northwest of Old Snowy Mountain . The McCall Glacier is located approximately 0.5 mi (0.8 km) east.
