The Paderborn brewery is a brewery and Paderborn is a beer brand in Paderborn .

The brewery tradition goes back to 1852. In the 1930s she acquired the old town brewery in Warburg, among other things . In 1982 production moved to a new building. The Paderborn brewery has been part of the Warsteiner Group since 1990 . In 2011 the brand was referred to as the so-called “entry-level Paderborner brand” and the design was standardized.

Paderborner is the first beer in Germany that has been brewed using wind energy since 2012 . The brewery covers 40 percent of the annual electricity needs of a wind turbine of the type Vestas  V90 2  MW rated power and 90 meter rotor diameter on the brewery grounds.
