Paklarevo is a village in Bosnia and Herzegovina . It is located in the Lašva valley at the foot of the Vlašić mountain range at around 600 m above sea level. The village is located in the Central Bosnia Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and belongs to the Travnik community . At the 2013 census it had 997 inhabitants.

history

In the 15th century the village was conquered by the Ottomans, but then placed under Austro-Hungarian administration in 1878 as a result of the Berlin Congress . In 1941 Paklarevo was conquered by the Germans, but only five months later it was recaptured by the Yugoslav partisans .

In the Bosnian War 1992–1995, the village was right on the front line and was attacked by troops of the Bosnian Serbs from Mount Vlašić. On April 3, 1992, three people died in an attack with several mortar shells. Most of the almost exclusively Croatian residents left Paklarevo.

From mid-1994 the Croatians returned to their home village and began to rebuild.
