Palazzo Gritti Morosini

Palazzo Gritti Morosini is a palace in Venice in the Veneto region of Italy . It is located in the Sestiere San Marco with a view of the Campo Sant'Angelo opposite the Palazzo Duodo a Sant'Angelo .

History and description

The palace was probably built in the 16th century in the full bloom of the Renaissance and, according to Brusegan , represents an example of neo-Gothic architecture before it was named.

The facade is decorated with three Gothic quadruple windows , one on each floor and each different in size and decoration. Each of them has a beautifully carved stone parapet . The marble applications and the multicolored plastered surfaces that surround the windows of the main floors and the portal are the most valuable parts of this palace.
