Palladium (Cologne)
The Palladium is an event center in Cologne-Mülheim , which is located in the immediate vicinity of the E-Werk . The building was built in 1899 as a mechanical engineering hall for Trefil Europe Engineering and has been used as a venue for cultural events, mainly concerts , since December 1998 . The Palladium is operated by Köln Event Veranstaltungsgesellschaft mbH, which also operates the neighboring power station.
The Palladium has space for up to 4,000 visitors with seating and around 6,500 for standing concerts. In 2014, Erasure , Schandmaul , Bullet for My Valentine , Casper , Ellie Goulding , Kylie Minogue , Within Temptation , Sido , OneRepublic , Fall Out Boy , Simple Minds , Kollegah , Lindsey Stirling , Jennifer Rostock and Slash performed at the Palladium.
