Stars is a pop song by the Swedish pop duo Roxette from 1999. It was written by Per Gessle and produced by Clarence Öfwerman.

Content and background

Stars is a love song . The singer sings in the song that she will follow her love everywhere. In the chorus she says that the stars will show where the waters flow, where the gardens bloom and that there she will meet her love.

The song was released as a single by EMI Records in 1999 . After Wish I Could Fly and Anyone, it is the third single from their sixth studio album Have a Nice Day . The music video for the single was shot under the direction of Anton Corbijn .
