Look Sharp! is the second studio album by Roxette . It was released by EMI in October 1988 and marked the breakthrough for the band.
Emergence
The album was recorded from March to August 1988 at EMI Studios in Stockholm and Trident II Studios in London . The four singles The Look , Dressed for Success , Dangerous and Listen to Your Heart developed into worldwide hits. Although the title of the album had been used by Joe Jackson back in 1979 , Per Gessle liked it and used it again.
reception
Bryan Buss from Allmusic wrote that Roxette were with Look Sharp! exploded on the "pop radar screen". On the website, the album was rated four and a half stars out of five.

The album was also released on compact cassette . The title "(I Could Never) Give You Up" is not included there, as is the case on the LP.
