The song was recorded at Abbey Road Studios . For the creation of the song, Per Gessle first worked with an international songwriter, Desmond Child . The song was released as a single by EMI Records in 1995 . It is the first single from their compilation album Don't Bore Us, Get to the Chorus! . The music video for the single was shot under the direction of Jonas Åkerlund .
