Pam Matthews
Pam Matthews (actually Pamela Mary Matthews; born February 8, 1958 ) is a former Australian javelin thrower .
In 1977 she was seventh at the Athletics World Cup in Düsseldorf and won the Pacific Conference Games . At the Athletics World Cup in Montreal in 1979 , she was again seventh.
In 1980 she was eliminated from the qualification at the Olympic Games in Moscow , and in 1982 she was fourth at the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane .
From 1977 to 1980 she was Australian champion four times in a row. Her personal best of 65.74 m she set on December 16, 1979 in Brisbane .
