Pan Bus A / S was a Danish bus company based in Viborg .

history

The company was founded in 1921 by Hans-Peter Hansen in Viborg. Because of the increasingly difficult tenders in Denmark and for economic reasons, the grandson Søren Holk Hansen, who still owned 60% of the company and was managing director, sold the company to AK Busser A / S in 2007. This Danish company in turn is 90% owned by the German Autokraft GmbH in Kiel and 10% by the Danish Abildskou A / S.

Pan Bus operated city and regional bus routes in Viborg, Sønderborg , Silkeborg , the Limfjord and Kruså . In 2009 she took over the city traffic in Esbjerg .

In 2009 the company had 85 buses and 220 employees.

On April 1, 2011, Pan Bus was incorporated into Arriva .
