Pan Wołodyjowski ([ pɑn wou̯odɨjowski ], dt. Also Mr. Wolodyjowski or The Little Knight ) is a historical novel by the Polish writer Henryk Sienkiewicz from 1888 and the third part of his big trilogy , which consists of the works With Fire and Sword (1884) , Deluge (1886) and this book.

The novel is about the struggle of the Poles in the Ottoman-Polish War between 1672 and 1676 against the Turks advancing north . The eponymous protagonist of the story is the fictional Colonel Michał Wołodyjowski .

In 1968 the Polish film Pan Wołodyjowski was based on the book and directed by Jerzy Hoffman . The film was also shown as a series on Polish television under the title Przygody pana Michała .
