Jerzy Hoffman
Jerzy Hoffman (born March 15, 1932 in Krakow ) is a Polish film director .
Life
Hoffman has made over 30 films since 1954. At the center of his work are the film adaptations of Henryk Sienkiewicz's trilogy , which he filmed in reverse order over the course of 30 years. For his film With Fire and Sword , he and Jerzy Michaluk received the Polish Film Award as best film producer in 2000 .
Hoffmann is married to Jagoda Prądzyńska in his third marriage. His first marriage resulted in the daughter Joanna Hoffman , who was one of the early employees at Apple .
