Pande (also Ipande) is a Bantu language and is spoken by around 9700 people in the Central African Republic .

It is common in the prefecture of Mambéré-Kadéï and the economic prefecture of Sangha-Mbaéré .

classification

Pande forms the Ngundi group with the languages Bomitaba , Bongili , Dibole , Mbati and Ngundi . According to the classification of Malcolm Guthrie , Pande belongs to the Guthrie Zone C20.

Pande has the dialects Ndjeli, Njeli, Linyeli, Linzeli, Ngili and Bogongo (also Bugongo and Bukongo).
